Hey ya’ll, first things first. I want to thank anyone and everyone who has supported me by ordering a camper enamel pin. I was nervous about launching a product, but I’ve got some great feedback from it. It also encourages me to keep growing and I love that. I’ve still got some pins in the shop, so if you were on the fence, get ’em while they’re hot!
Today I’m collaborating with fellow tiny-houser, Leah Nixon to talk about tiny house kitchen design tips. We both love to cook and cooking in our tiny kitchens has been a fun challenge. Take it away, Leah!
Link Love is a short one this week. But sometimes we need to consume less and create more, am I right? Continue reading
Have you ever heard the saying, “You can have things fast, cheap or easy, but you can’t have all three?” I’m not 100% sure that’s the exact saying, but that iteration would be the short version of why we chose to live in an Airstream instead of a tiny house. A Small Life is more than just talking about Airstreams. A Small Life is about living a happier, more minimalistic lifestyle. That’s why today I’m branching out a bit with a post from my friend, Leah. Leah is a badass who has built her tiny home from scratch. I love her can-do attitude and her realistic approach to tiny house living– something I don’t often see online or on television. Today Leah is going to share the top 10 reasons she and her boyfriend built, not bought, their tiny house. Take it away, Leah!
Lord, ya’ll. I thought I set this post to publish on Friday, but apparently I did not. It’s been one of those weeks. Oh well, here’s hoping these links lessen the blow of Monday for ya.
I’m thinking of trying something a touch different with Link Love and using a photo of what’s going on in my life that week. This semester I had the chance to change my work schedule so I get up much earlier. I see the sunrise most mornings from the Airstream and I try to enjoy it. 🙂
I also think it makes more sense to publish Link Love on Fridays. It’s a delightful, almost-weekend treat and it gives me more time to discover the best of the web for that week. Let me know if you like the new format! Now on with Link Love! Continue reading
Ya’ll, it is so hard to get back into the habit of blogging and working and doing all the things. I took such a nice, long break, but it’s time to get back to it. I read so many good things during my break. Books! Entire books! And Internet goodies, of course. This is going to be a long one, folks, so settle in! Continue reading
