Key Tags: A Fun, Minimalist Gift

Funny key tags

Attach a funny key tag to your holiday gifts for a memorable presentation!

It’s that time of year again… are you ready?

TBH, the holidays stress me out and I like to start shopping and wrapping early. I know it’s hard to shop for minimalists, I get that. I’ve even written a post about Gifts for Minimalists. But I’ve also received feedback from many loved ones and readers that they still like giving a little something along with the gift card, cash or minimalist-friendly gift. And I totally get that!

Mama I'm coming home key tag

Perfect for your boogie van keys!

That’s why I designed these cute, funny key tags— attach them to a present or stuff them in a stocking. They make a great gift for your favorite Ozzy or Eddie fan. They also make a great gift for mamas and people who are always forgetting their keys– i.e. me! You can purchase them in the shop.

Take me home tonight key tag

Perfect for the guy or gal who always loses their keys!

And until December 1st, I’m donating half of my proceeds to the Adopt an Elder program. A program which provides Navajo elders with firewood and food. “Elders in the program range from 75 to over 100 years of age. Many live in hogans or simple structures with no running water and some have no electricity.” I’d love to be able to raise the $231.63 needed to provide an elder with food run boxes for the year.

I hope you have a low-key (pun intended) Thanksgiving holiday!

Camper Van Before and After Remodel

Camper Van Front Seat Before and AfterY’all. I am so excited and relieved to share this post. It’s been a long time in the making. Two years long. Which is longer than we’ve ever stretched out a project. At the beginning of freakin’ 2015 George and I purchased a beat up, 1995 Chevy G30 van. (You can see all the before pictures here.) Our tiny cars were not cutting it for all the traveling, camping and haulin’ junk that we do. Continue reading

Custom Camper Van Progress

Van Before Interior
George and I are currently building out a custom van for camping and travelling. We’d love to travel in the Airstream, but it’s large and cumbersome– especially for a short trip. We don’t have much time to work on the van, but we’ve made some progress and I want to share it with you today.

As a reminder, let’s take a look at the van before we started working on it. (See above and below!)Van Inside Before

Yikes.

And here’s the progress we’ve made… Continue reading
