It’s easy to be average. It’s easy to be in debt and live above your means. It’s easy to lie to yourself. It’s easy to complicate your life. What’s harder is being great. What’s harder is living simply. What’s harder is looking for the good in the everyday. What’s harder is telling yourself the truth.
How do you cultivate greatness? Let me know in the comments!

Kind of like that Three Dog Night song, “Easy to be Hard.” Actually, I like your post today, very profound and I agree strongly.
Thank you!
I’m trying to find ways to simplify and get this weight off my shoulders. I paid off my car last month. Now I’m working on my student loans. I made the commitment yesterday to pay them off within the original ten year term (rather than the 25 year consolidation). Hopefully I can pay it off sooner, but if not 2020 is my year. I have a nice thermometer chart sitting here reminding me to work towards my goal. Thank you for inspiration every day!
That’s awesome! It always helps to “see” the work that you’ve put in.
