‘Tis the pow wow season. I love pow wows. The dancing, the food, and of course, the jewelry. I know I should be saving my money for our trip at the end of the month, but I can’t resist turquoise jewelry. I’ve been buying jewelry from the same vendor for at least 15 years. He always has the best stuff and I do love supporting my people. The pieces I’ve bought were very reasonable for the quality, but I do need to tighten my belt a little bit until our trip.
In preparation of our trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, George and I had a movie-watching marathon this weekend. I forgot how sad the last installment in the series was. I seriously was balling there at the end. I think George was embarrassed of me. He doesn’t know what he has coming. I am going to geek out big time at the theme park. He already told me he would act like he didn’t know me if I dressed up, but I can’t promise I won’t be crying tears of joy.
I also did a bit of gardening this weekend– after drinking my coffee, of course! My tomatoes are looking pretty hearty and my sunflowers are coming up nicely. The rest of the garden, well, I’m not so sure about it, but I’ll be thrilled if anything at all produces something edible. I’m a beginner, after all.
What were you up to this weekend? Let me know in the comments!
